The new F1 game by Codemasters has been revealed today with a major new feature that fans have been asking for for a while.

F1 2020 will be the twelfth F1 game by developers Codemasters and this year comes with the headline “BE THE ELEVENTH TEAM ON THE GRID” to go along with a major new game mode called my team.
This will allow players to create their own F1 team, manage and race alongside the normal 2020 grid of cars.
There will also be the option to choose between three different season lengths, 10, 16 and 22 races, something which hasn’t appeared in an F1 game since 2014.
Other features include the return of split screen multiplayer as well as the return of Formula 2 modes which first appeared in the 2019 game.
To commemorate Lewis Hamilton aiming for his seventh world championship this season there will also be a deluxe Schumacher edition of the game with additional content. This will include the ability to drive as Michael Schumacher in some of his most iconic cars:
- 1991 Jordan 191
- 1994 Benetton B194
- 1995 Benetton B195
- 2000 Ferrari F1-2000
as well as exclusive customization items and podium celebration.
The game is set to release on 10th July on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.
