The 2020 season opening Australian GP has been cancelled due to concerns over the Coronavirus just 2 hours before FP1 was due to start.

It comes after it was announced earlier today that Mclaren had withdrawn itself from the race after a team member tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
The call has drawn criticism from fans and journalists who say it should have been decided before everyone traveled to Australia given the increasing number of other sporting events that have also been cancelled.
Australia is now the second race to be cancelled/postponed after China was postponed in February, while Bahrain is set to take place without spectators.
It also puts the rest of the season in doubt with Vietnam also potentially getting cut and some suggesting the entire season could be stopped.
