After months of court battles and controversy Rich Energy has announced it will no longer sponsor the Haas F1 team.

Speculation began as soon as the deal was announced at the start of the year as no one had heard or the ‘exclusive’ drinks company. They also became unpopular among fans by constantly boasting that they were better than Red Bull.
But it recently came to light that they had plagiarised their logo from another company called ‘Whyte bikes’. This led to a court case which Rich lost and were ordered to stop using the logo. They were also ordered to hand over their accounts to the supreme court to help prove if they were legitimate.
In a tweet from Rich (below) they claimed the reason for the split was due to the team under performing although many are unconvinced that is the case.
