Codemasters has today announced the first details of the 2018 interaction of its official franchise.
In a press release by the developer, it was revealed that the game will release on the 24th August in Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
The release also said that the game would build on the immersive career mode style that it first implemented in the 2016 game. As well as the classic cars, brought back in 2017, which will also feature with Codemasters having conducted surveys to decide which cars and others feature fans want.
“We were delighted by the reception that the highly-acclaimed F1 2017 game received,” Said Paul Jeal (director of F1 franchise at Codemasters).
“Over the past few years, we have engaged heavily with our fan-base to understand what is important to them”.
Jeal also mentioned that F1 2018 will include a “highly requested feature back into the franchise” but no with hint as to what this feature may be.
