Next up on the F1 calendar is Singapore, a track that hasn’t gone well with Mercedes in the past. Rosberg had problems in 2014, They didn’t even get on the podium in 2015 and Hamilton won by less than half a second last year.

Can they finally find what it is they are missing around here? Only time will tell but I imagine Ferrari will be right up there with the Silver Arrows.

Speaking of Ferrari they are actually looking to be the favourites this time around after all they dominated in Monaco and Singapore is a pretty similar layout owing to their strengths.

Red Bull as well are expected to do well and with their fuel supplier having set their sights on Singapore for their next big update they’ll be ones to watch this weekend.

Like Ferrari, Mclaren suits this type of track and so they will be hoping for a good result. And like Red Bull, they tactically took grid penalties in Belgium and Monza to maximise their chances here. However, it may not be plain sailing for them with huge long back straight they’re still vulnerable when it comes to straight line speed.

Hulkenberg is someone who hasn’t well at this track either, in recent years at least, he retired in 2015 and didn’t even make the first corner in 2016 after crashing at the start. However, so long as he keeps his nose clean this time he could d very well this year, after all, he has been solid in the mid-points this year.

Top 5 prediction

  1. Vettel
  2. Raikkonen
  3. Ricciardo
  4. Hamilton
  5. Verstappen
