Toro Rosso and Honda have called off talks of an engine supply for next year as they could not come to an agreement.
The Italian and Japanese companies had been in talks for Honda to fulfil its intention to supply a second team alongside Mclaren.
However, no agreement could be reached on financial terms and with time running out to design next years car, Toro Rosso will continue its Renault deal for next year.
It comes after Sauber recently called off their engine deal in favour of Ferrari power units.
This means Honda is even closer to being forced out of the sport with the Mclaren deal, although unlikely to cease, under threat
