Williams’ sporting manager Steve Neilsen has joined the team put together by Ross Brawn to help dictate F1’s future.
Neilsen attended his last race with Williams at Silverstone. He will leave that role on July 31st with Dave Redding taking over from Mclaren.
Neilsen will be responsible for providing input on the Day-to-day running of the teams as well as representing the commercial rights holder in regulations meetings.
He will join the rest of the group consisting of Jason Somerville (Head of Aerodynamics), Craig Wilson (Head of Vehicle Performance) and Nigel Kerr (Finance Director, Motorsports).
