F1 has revealed a new revitalised way of bringing fans closer to the sport.
The plans have been drawn up by new owners Liberty Media and some could introduced as early as this weekend.
The new ‘Fan festival’ will include things like a new dedicated TV channel as well as a new overhauled fan zone at the tracks with simulators, zip lines and pit challenges.
There will also be new competitions held with prizes including Paddock club passes and even rides a specialised 2 seater F1 cars.
Alongside all this Corporate guests will also get access to new show cars, garage mock ups and even a ride on the drivers parade truck.
“Formula 1 is undergoing a major evolution and the Spanish Grand Prix is a landmark moment in the brand’s history” Said F1 commercial managing director Sean Bratches.
“From the outset, we have focused on getting fans closer to the action and broadening the appeal of the sport.
“The launch of this weekend’s Fan Festival marks the beginning of this journey and we are excited about bringing races to life in this way over the course of the season and beyond.
