Update: Chinese GP to stay on Sunday

An update to my previous article ‘CHINA FP2 ABANDONED‘. Race director Charlie Whiting has decide to keep this weekends race on Sunday.

Low lying clouds on Friday caused much of FP1 and FP2 to be abandoned after it was found the safety helicopter could not land at the designated hospital and it was too far for a road ambulance to get there in the 20 minute limit.

This caused many to speculate the race could be moved to Saturday as Sunday is expected to be worse. And after a team boss meeting with the FIA it has been decided that a rescheduling would not happen.
