The second practice session in China has been abandoned due to poor weather conditions.
Low lying fog caused the safety helicopter to be unable to land at the nearest hospital. This led to officials delaying the session and eventually abandoned it altogether.
This means the teams have lost out on essential running including race runs, given that FP1 was also abandoned not long after starting. And there have been suggestions that the schedule could be reorganised to compensate.
It has been said that the race may take place tomorrow as Sunday is expected to be even worse weather wise.
Team bosses are to meet with the FIA to discuss whether the race should be moved to Saturday to prevent a potential cancellation should it be kept on Sunday. Although officials have denied such claims.
