Car Throttle acquires WTF1

Leading motoring network Car Throttle has acquired popular F1 site WTF1 in a partnership that bean earlier this year. The announcement was made by Car Throttle yesterday and sees WTF1 become part of the Car Throttle network, allowing users to sign in to to WTF1 with their Car Throttle account.
The founder of the F1 site Tom Belingham will take on a chief editor role, he created the site back in 2010 after finding that none of the F1 website around at the time suited his tastes.

In addition to the takeover an new YouTube channel has been set up with F1 personality Matthew Gallagher AKA ‘xMattyg’ being made host of the WTF1 videos.
